Viacheslav Datsik, a former martial arts champion from Russia, was extradited to Moscow after being denied an asylum in Norway. A young neo-Nazi, known also under his nick name “Red Tarzan”, fled for Norway from a psychiatric clinic in St. Petersburg. He was arrested in September 2010 when threatening with a loaded weapon at an immigration office in Oslo.
Besides his sport career, Datsik was involved in a radical right-wing organization Slavic Union. In addition, the extradited neo-Nazi was charged for criminal activities (including murder threats) between 1996 and 2001.
In 2010 Russian authorities banned the neo-Nazi Slavic Union for promoting racism and hate speech. According to the media, Slavic Union has recently reopened in Norway.
